The bonus tier of a player should not reset when traded. If they have been awarded 2 bonuses and they are on the 3rd tier now it should stay that way even if traded. The only way to reset a tier should be if the player goes through waivers or free agency in the off season. With tiers resetting after every trade it will be forever before some of these players ever get dropped into free agency.
Re: Bonus Tier No Reset
I would be opposed to this change. I believe the tier reset after trade was specifically meant to encourage lots of offseason trading and player movement. I think it works just fine.

I'd actually be ok with this. I think there are plenty, even too many, policies in place that restrict the acceleration of salaries and make player movement more stagnant in this league, I think the more decisions we have to make the better and the better decision-makers will be successful,

I tend to agree with Luke on this one. The more tougher decisions, the better.

I am fine either way.

I'd be good with it for the reason that Denver (Luke) gave, but also because I'm selfish and changing the bonus numbers after processing trades is a bit of a pain to remember lol.
