Lineup Request to Protect Draft Pick Trades

If another team owns your future 1st or 2nd round draft pick then they get to submit a lineup request to the Commissioner on how they want that team to set their lineup for their playoff draft position match up. So many times teams that do not own their draft pick(s) have no incentive to be competitive at this point or may purposely sabotage the position of the other team that owns the pick. This would ensure that the team that owns the pick can submit the most competitive lineup.

I believe that whomever owns the 1st round pick should set the lineup. However, if we move to a lottery system I am not sure it will matter as much.

I like the idea that the owner of the 1st round pick should have the right to set the lineup during the consolation playoff bracket series

I like the idea but who will monitor that? Seems like a lot of work. We do have a great commish though.

We do need some kind of solution for this. The final 4 teams in the consolation playoffs for NFC did not own their 1st rounders. I believe I owned the first rounder of a team that didn't have any of their 2020 original picks left. Why the hell would he put in any effort on setting a decent lineup (I believe he actually did though, but that's not the point).
But I think I like the lottery idea better.

That does seem like a bit of unnecessary work... If the commish is okay with it, im okay with it. But I'm leaning towards a disagree. I'll abstain until the cowgirls gives her feedback
