Roster Cut Deadline

Just as the NFL has roster cut deadlines to get below certain numbers we too should be allowed to go over the roster limit during the offseason and have a deadline to cut down to the required limit. We can make the over amount unlimited or like 10. That way people can stock up on potential players in free agency or the draft and not be tied to any roster limit restriction until the deadline to do so. The deadline would be after free agency and the draft, but obviously before the season starts.

I don't mind this idea as long as their no cap recovery from cutting the players. There should be some risk to stocking up on players over the roster limit, and that risk could be the fact that you don't recovery salary from the cuts. Also it shouldn't be unlimited, maybe just max of 5 over the limit.

For me it's easier to manage the league with having the cap and roster limits in place during the off season so I would probably be a no. Plus knowing you have a cap and roster limit means you need to make some tough roster decisions at times and I'm all for making managers make tough decisions!

Strongly disagree with having more roster spots in a very shallow existing player pool post-draft/auction.
