The football guys player championship is a $350 buy in with a $150,000 1st place, if 31 guys pay 11.29 that covers the buy in. We could award a buy in to the champion of this league going forward. Treat the league like a satellite to a bigger league with a much bigger prize then our champion can keep us updated on their progress. We can adjust our winnings so this $350 comes out of it somehow (means cutting something else) or we can increase our entry fees by the 11.29 amount.

sounds interesting. I'd be ok with this. However I suspect the $350 would mainly need to come from the winnings of the league champion... and it might be best just to let the league champion decide how they want to use their own winnings. Maybe would work better if it was at least half supplemented by increased league fee

it is fully supplemented by increased league fees. I do think the player would probably need to be registered by the comish to ensure he doesn't pocket the extra $350 intended for this. I am 100% in favor of this!! instead of a silly trophy or something, we get a shot at a big competition next season.

I like this idea a lot. Gives us something more to play for.

How about you just give me the additional $350 instead of this tournament entry I really don't care about and may not give it my full attention thus wasting the $350 entry.

i dont think is a good idea. it makes more likely for owners of bad teams to want to leave the league.
