Hard Cap in Offseason

All teams must remain below the hard cap of $300 during the offseason. They can only go over the salary cap by trading for additional cap dollars (up to the limit of 350) during the playing season.

I did not originally support this, but I will admit that you were correct James. This should have been put in force.

Seems reasonable to me. I like the idea of the $350 hard cap (aka $50 max additional cap that can be traded for) as opposed to the limitless cap that could be received in trades from this past season and could get a little out of hand. $350 seems reasonable for a hard cap. I'm not overly concerned whether it's enforced only during the season or offseason as well.

I would propose the max acquisition for team budget to change from 50 to 20 or 25. 50 bucks is almost a 15% increase in salary. I think an 8 to 10 percent max increase is more reasonable.

There is no reason given for this change.
I can’t think of any positive results it just completely locks you down.

The hard cap in offseason would be very limiting for trades, especially during the rookie draft. How many trades were made last year during the off-season with salary attached?
You would be shutting down a significant amount of trades by taking away a key bargaining chip.
