Dynasty Roll Over Award

Post by Commissioner » Thu May 16, 2019 3:23 pm

A portion of the pot goes into a rolling award called a Dynasty Award and is awarded when someone wins back to back championships. We could allocate towards the award half the total pot, 25% of the pot, $100, or some other predetermined amount. Award builds up every season until someone wins back to back and gets the bonus.

Dang...I like this idea. I dont know about the amount per year....25% seems pretty steep. 100 seems good per year.

I'm fine with this. I actually play in a league that has something similar. Out of our yearly 2800 pot, we put 150 of it towards this award. After 13 seasons, no one has ever won it lol. Currently sitting at $1950. Will be nice when it's finally won though. Winner will get more from this award than winning the championship lol.

Just comes down to someone stepping up and winning it all back to back. With 32 teams the odds will be low, but still possible. I wouldn't be opposed to putting in 100 or so into a rollover award for this.

How about the pot goes to the first team to win 2 SB's...Even if it means mine from last season doesn't count, might be a little more possibility of a team winning the pot.

I like the idea combined with above, but for a much smaller amount. It will build for years, i dont think we want to have almost over a thousand dollars in holding if it gets to that point

I would say no to this as well. Like the idea, just don't really like the prospects of a team winning back to back.

I vote no on this award because with so many teams, I think it will likely never be won.
